Super Mario Strikers

Super Mario Strikers was released in 2005 among many countries and was often well reviewed according to Nintendo. Super Mario Strikers is a fast paced game featuring all of Mario's beloved characters. In the game you can attack other players while playing soccer to steal the ball from them with no referees it is entirely legal. The teams feature a goal keeper, a main character of the Mario franchise(the captain), and three of the same secondary characters to Mario. These secondary characters are characters that it is okay to have, like Goomba's, Shy guys, Toads and Boo's. 

Game Play

The game consists of a five to side soccer match with the teams listed above. The goal keeper for every time except the "Super Team" is a Kritter. During the game the controls are dash, tackle, lob, pass and shoot. This is what people come for, the ability to completely destroy someone in a sport without getting any penalties. Shooting also can be made to be stronger in this game where with good timing you can trigger a "Super Strike", which will grant two goals if timed properly. Items are a large part of the games play ability. With items that come in every time there is a foul to the team that was fouled or if a team has a good play they will receive an item. Items are used to attack the other team to create a chance to score. Some of the items that can be used are green shells, blue shells, red shells, multiple bananas, single bananas as well as bombs. Some of these items are vary beneficial to your team while some have a chance to hurt your team as well. The red shells are heat seeking for your enemies while the green shells will just shoot out and bounce around. Bananas will just sit where they are placed til they are hit.

Game Modes

The game includes multiple modes, some of which include the Grudge Match, Strikers 101 and Cup Battles, some of which I have history with. Grudge Match is the standard single mode as well as the multiplayer mode, you can play with up to four people playing at once. Strikers 101 is the typical training game mode where you can learn the controls and aspects of the game. Cup Battles allows up to four people to compete in tournaments against the artificial characters to go through more cups for more rewards.

Why I Like the Game

The game holds a special spot in my heart due to how it contains a multiplayer aspect for the cup mode. I would play this game constantly with friends as they come over with how simple and fun it is. The cup mode that allows every one to play and work together as it gets harder. Over all if you have an extra person to play with this game has great potential.

Animal Crossing Animal Crossing is a very popular game that has had many remakes for almost every Nintendo system. This results in a large variation between games, but they mostly follow the same plot. The plot of the game is that you are greeted on a bus, train, or some vehicle by a friend of the towns shop owner. Luigi's Mansion, For Beginners Luigi's Mansion is a game that I played often and was one of the first games that I beat as a child. I would play this game every chance I got, due to how it is very basic to follow. The game begins with Luigi walking up to an old looking mansion with a flyer that says he had won a mansion with a picture of a nice modern mansion, but the mansion he won is actually an old mansion that is haunted.
